Choose your Greek villa rental with a heated pool. Whilst many luxury Greek villas have a pool, few have a heated pool. And whilst you don’t need a heated pool from mid-June to mid-September, if you’re enjoying your holiday in the lower season periods then a heated pool is a real luxury.
Heating the pool allows you to swim in temperatures of 26-28C whilst un-heated pools often struggle to get above 20-21C. And those extra 6 or 7 degrees can make a huge difference to the pleasure of your swimming and your holiday! We’ll be running our pool heating from early May to mid-June and from mid-September to end October.
Air Source Heat Pump for eco-friendly heating
At Villa Gabriella Lefkada we’ve just installed a powerful air source heat pump from Ecoplus.
This will use of the beautiful Greek sunshine to warm our pool in a very environmentally friendly way. It produces 5Kw of heat into the pool for every 1Kw of electricity used. Running in the morning to benefit from its easterly positioning and warm the pool up to 26-28C. Discreetly hidden away on a platform below the pool it’s invisible and runs almost silently. This ensures you get the benefits of warm water whilst not being aware of the technology.
So when you’re choosing your Greek villa rental, choose carefully and choose a Greek villa rental with a heated pool. You’ll be getting a level of luxury that few villas offer and at a villa rental cost that remains very competitive with other luxury villas in Greece and the Ionian.
Of course that comes with all the rest of the luxury that Villa Gabriella Lefkada offers. Complete privacy & tranquility. Four beautiful ensuite bedrooms with high quality linens and towels. A shaded dining terrace and a hot tub both positioned to make the best of an absolutely priceless view. A view that’s arguably unmatched in the Ionian.
